    Fiber glass for stuffing

My Valencia cabinets had fiberglass stapled to the walls which was around 2" thick and was pretty rigid and dense compaired with the 3 1/2" stuff used presently for wall insulation.

I'm going to rework the stuffing in my clone Model 19 and the old stuff would make a neater job. What was the old stuff and is it still available?

    thanks
    Les

    Re: Fiber glass for stuffing

I used some insulation board that I find online for free. I think it is Owens-Corning 703 or 705. It has no backing, it is about 2" thick.......

google that product and find out who is your local retailer... you might have to special order it. I also think you have to order a case of it, which about 12 2'x4' panels come with. You can always sell the rest or make acoustic panels with it. That is what I will be doing with my leftovers, especially since I am putting hardwood floors.

    Good luck,
